fairs are bigger than markets. They were fun. They had fruit, wine, peanuts, beans, spices, meat, fish, and apricots. Markets are held once a week or once a month, usually around a saints' day. Festivals are more festive than markets and fairs. By the 16th century fairs were coming to an end. In the 18th century the Industrial revolution introduced methods of making goods and getting them to the markats faster. Some of the Festivals were May Day, Church Ales, and Harvest time. May day waqs a very fun festival. The Festival was celebrated on May 1st. Church Ales was also very fun because kids could get goodies. Harvest time was celebrated on November 11th. Kids competed in sailing, wrestling, feild hockey, and soccer. Hey we still celebrate that here at EA.
